I try to behave in a similar way. If I miss a flight and can still make it to my destination and not get charged tons more money I can find something to do. I frequently gate check bags. I have found it is the easiest to be one of the last people off of the plane. Otherwise all I do is just wait for my bag. I guess I mention this as I believe it creates less stress for me. You know that whole rush , rush , rush mentally. All those people that need to get off the plane to rush to there next gate to wait for there plane to board. I have always liked the saying. Life is a journey not a destination. Even when traveling slow down look around experience life. I think you can always tell people that travel too much. I try to behave in a similar way.
